KNP traffic jam as lioness carries cub to new den
The lioness stepped into the middle of the road and carried her cub to safety in order to protect it from harm.
A lioness is a strong animal renowned for its bravery and strength. In an act that shows how devoted a mom is to her cubs, a lioness showed her strength when she caused a traffic jam in the Kruger National Park as she carried her cub across the road to search for a new den site.
The lioness moved between the cars – with the cub tightly held in her jaws – before disappearing into the bushes by the side of the road. The video was captured by Safraaz Suliman.
