At the heart of Midrand Shotokan Karate (MSK) is development of youth sport.

Dalson Seanego from MSK said the tournament will focus on development.

“Development in sports is an issue that affects every corner of South Africa. Though the tournament was local, we had entries from other districts in Gauteng as well as provinces.

“It was an all styles tournament with no limitations in terms of who may enter the tournament.

“The MSK tournament has been on hold for many years and the need for the re-launch has been burning within athletes and officials.
