Kempton FC and Thanda Aces go head to head

Kempton FC reserve team got a well deserved 2-1 over Thanda Aces recently.

Kempton Park FC and Thanda Aces first teams went head to head on July 27.

Aces dominated throughout the game. The game ended 4-2 to Aces.

In a reserve league match, Kempton showed a little bit more dominance than Aces and wrapped up the game with a 2-1 win.

Aces kicked off the game and immediately pushed forward to try to catch Kempton sleeping.

The home team, Kempton, handled the attack and stabilised the game quickly.

Kempton pressed and managed to get a superior ball possession.

Even though Aces saw less of the ball, they managed to block spaces and prevented Kempton from penetrating their defence for some minutes.

Kempton was very persistent in their quest for the opening goal and they got rewarded when they managed to score one after a perfect build-up.

Being a goal down, Aces started pressing more and pushing more numbers forward.

They were let down by their passes when they got to Kempton’s defence line.

A collision happened between an Aces striker, a Kempton defender and a goalkeeper.

The Kempton defender had to be substituted as he couldn’t continue with the game.

The battle in the middle of the park was slightly even, with Kempton getting more through balls into the Aces’ defence line.

Kempton went into halftime with a goal lead after an intense first half.

The second half got underway, and both continued with the intensity they had in the first half.
