Kempton Park Red Sox defeat Panthers

Kempton Park’s Red Sox faced Panthers in Kempton Park on Sunday in their Senior Reserve game.
Red Sox are undefeated in the league and were determined to extend their winning streak.
In the first innings Red Sox brought in four runs while preventing any Panther’s players from coming home.

The second innings proved to be a tight one and when each side only brought in one run.
Both sides failed to score any runs in the third inning.
The tide turned in the fourth innings when the Sox side brought home five runs while making quick work of the Panthers batsmen.

After a full eight frames, the final score was 19–5 in favour of the Kempton Park log leaders.
Panthers manager Adrian Peach said his side made unnecessary errors.
“It wasn’t a bad game, but it could have been better though. We gave away a lot of unnecessary runs. We need more practice and more batting practice because that is what we lacked today,” said Peach.

Red Sox coach Shane Gaddin said he is happy with the results of the game and all the players tried their best.
“I think my team did very well, there is nothing that I would have changed about the game because we had a good game.”

Red Sox manager Michelle Bouwer said that although she saw a few errors during the game, she is still happy with the outcome.
“The team had a good game.”
