Kempton Park Cricket Club back in action

In the U10 Sabali game against CBC Old Boys, Kempton won by 78 runs after setting up a target of 140/2.

The new year has started with a bang for players from the Kempton Park Cricket Club (KPCC).

Junior and senior players recently faced rivals in several games.

The U12 Sabali side took on players from Bedfordview Cricket Club.

Kempton batted first and was bowled out for 75 in 18 overs. Cayde Freer scored 23 runs from 24 balls
Bedfordview reached the target to win by three wickets.

The best bowler for the match was Cayde Freer, who took 3/10 in four overs. He was named KPCC’s man of the match.

In the U10 Sabali game against CBC Old Boys, Kempton won by 78 runs after setting up a target of 140/2.

The U10 Kingham side took on Etwatwa.

Etwatwa batted first making 86/9.

Coming in to bat, the Kempton Park side reached their target with four wickets in hand.

Sebastian Swanepoel scored 20 runs not out.

In the senior games, KPCC lost against Bedfordview in the Directors League while in the Chairman’s League, the Kempton Park side raked up a win against Actionville.

In the Colts League, Kempton Park faced Thembisa. Kempton batted first, scoring 127 all out and Thembisa replied by reaching their target with seven wickets in hand.
