First up was the U8 Avion Impala side which took on rivals from Old Bens.

Old Bens won the toss and decided to bat first scoring 115 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs
Avion replied with 116 for the loss of five in 15 overs to secure a six-wicket win.

Best batsmen for the day was JayJay Bezuidenhout with 32 not out from 43 balls and Handre Cronje with 22 not out from 18 balls.

Best bowler went to Luwan Mulder who took one wicket for nine runs in three overs.

Next up was the Avion U10 Impala side which faced Springs Old Boys at Rhino Park.

SOB won the toss and elected to take to the field.

Avion taking up the bat first were bowled out for 131 in 19 overs.

SOB replied with 114 all out in 17 overs.

Best bowler for the day was Jodey Coertse who took four wickets for 15 runs in three overs.

The pick of the batsmen was Stephen Hardwin who scored 28 runs.

Avion’s U10 Kingham side faced rivals from Wattville.

There was no toss and Avion agreed to bat first scoring a massive 299 runs for the loss of five wickets in 25 overs.
Watville replied by scoring just 57 runs all out in 16.3 overs.

The pick of the batsmen for Avion were Ricard with 106 not out from 53 before retiring, Luhan with 54 runs not out from 27 balls and Reuben with 36 runs not out from 19 balls.

Stian, Morne and Juandre were selected as the day’s top bowlers.

The Avion U10 Sibali side faced Actonville at Lords 2.

Avion batted first and scored 95 for the loss of six wickets before sending Actonville to the crease.

Actionville replied with 58 runs for the loss of nine wickets to help Avion secure the win.

Top bowlers for the match were Aiden and Anzel.
