Curro Serengeti learners bag golf league titles

The school's golfers were also crowned as the Eastern Gauteng A-league zero handicap winners as well as A-league IPS winners for 2022.

Learners from Curro Serengeti recently participated in the Ekurhuleni School Golf A-league and finished as the overall league winners.

The golfers were also crowned as the Eastern Gauteng A-league zero handicap as well as A-league IPS winners for 2022.

Keegan Plowes, Lwazi Sikhonde and Milani Sikhonde were selected as part of the Eastern Gauteng golf team that will represent the province at the IPT championships at Koro Kreek in December.

Milani Sikhonde (Grade Two) was also ranked the best girls golfer in Eastern Gauteng and is now the reigning champion over girls who are older than her.

In December the school team will play in the inter-provincial championships at Waterkloof Golf Club.
