Club and social tennis will return soon

Gauteng East Tennis Association, Gauteng East Coaches and all tennis players are elated that tennis can return.

It has been a long 83 days with no tennis.

Coaches can resume their jobs and earn money and do what they are passionate about.

Players can resume training, improving their skills and levels and be conditioned for when tournaments can resume.

The provincial squads can resume, improving the level of tennis in the province.

Grassroots programmes will also resume in Thembisa, Daveyton, Vosloorus and Kathlehong, bringing the game of tennis to all corners of Gauteng East.

Coaches have to be registered with Tennis South Africa in order to be issued their Covid-19 licence to coach. Clubs have to be affiliated to their province in order for coaches to use the facilities or for club play to resume.

These measures will make sure that all Covid-19 protocols are in place and followed for players, coaches and members to play in a safe environment during the pandemic.
