Powerico winter games finals are taking place this weekend

The first edition of the annual Powerico Winter games will host the final matches on the weekend July 30.

Event organiser, Power Makhura, said the event will take place at eSiqongweni sports ground at 9am.

Ladies football match will begin at 9am. U-15 Exhibition Game to open for competing teams will play at 10am.

Legends (Old Crogs) game starts at 11am. The 3rd and 4th place match will be Mafikizolo versus team of choice 12.30pm playing for bronze medals and R7 000 is the prize for 3rd place, R3 000 prize for 4th place. The main final game will be between Amavutherian versus Ambassadors at 14.30pm.

Makhura said the overall winner will take home R100 000 and 2nd place winner will get R20 000.
