Kwasa-Kwasa FC won the Tembisa Masters Social League games when they obtained 67 points, beating all the participating teams.

The team met with Nazo Masters FC during the final game of the Tembisa Masters Social League on Sunday.

Kwasa-Kwasa throttled Nazo Masters 2-0 in an entertaining match played at the Mehlareng Stadium.

Both the teams started the match on a high note and eager to win.

In the early minutes of the game, Kwasa-Kwasa managed to take a 1-0 lead when their reliable striker Mlungisi Cele scored an only goal after he had received a well-time pass from Brian Sebogoane.

This pushed Nazo Masters to try even harder to equalise but they missed out on their attempts at goal close to the end of the first half, leaving the score unchanged.

The second part of the game remained a thriller for the supporters with the oldies showing great fighting spirit.

Against the run of play, Kwasa-Kwasa striker Brian Sebogoane was awarded a penalty after Nazo Masters’ Anthonny Dlamini was caught committing a foul.

Sebogoane took the opportunity and put the ball behind the net.

When the final whistle blew, the score was still 2-0 in favour of Kwasa-Kwasa FC.

The manager of Kwasa-Kwasa FC, Mr Paul Mmusi said, “I am over the moon to have claimed back our championship title of the Tembisa Masters Social League. It was a tough league throughout the year, competing for the title. I am extremely impressed with how my players have worked in order to retain the title,” said Mr Mmusi.
