Skye Distribution donates clothing to All Star Boys Shelter

Skye Distribution has donated over 9 000 items of clothing to charities and children’s homes

BOYS at All Star Boys Shelter will soon be looking cool in the brand new t-shirts they received from Skye Distribution, a fashion brand distribution company, on September 3.

The company recently ran a national campaign where they gave back to the underprivileged youth of South Africa.

“Skye Distribution has kindly donated over 9 000 items of clothing to charities and children’s homes throughout Gauteng and KwaZulu Natal. The drive started on September 3 and ran through to September 8,” PR executive, Miguel Caetano said.

The initiative sees representatives visiting these Child Welfare South Africa charities: All Star Boys Shelter, Edenvale ECD and children in foster care, Benoni children’s home, Vanderbijlpark day mother society, JISS Mayfair ECD and aftercare centre, Kagiso ECDs, Roodepoort drop-in centre, Midrand ECD, Tshwane ECD and aftercare facilities in Geluksdal and Boksburg.

The company will also be distributing items of clothing to Gift of the Givers and the following Gozololo charities in KwaZulu Natal: Kwa-Mashu centre for needy children, Bhambayi children’s home, Umgababa centre for needy children, Forest Farm’s Cerebral Palsy Association outreach programme, Kopanang and Ratanang children’s homes.
