Mr Mayor, why not fight for justice for all families?

'The reason I'm writing to you is, why have you never found the need to personally visit any other family in Van Riebeeck Park after their loved ones have been gunned down'

Disgusted Resident of Van Riebeeck Park writes:

Mayor Mzwandile Masina,

Firstly we extend our condolences to the Masilela family for the loss of their son and to his wife.

Can  you inform your residents of Van Riebeeck Park why you visited the Masilela family home? Even the ANC spokesperson (Zizi Kodwa) attended this sad occasion of the loss of a young talented man.

The reason I’m writing to you is, why have you never found the need to personally visit any other family in Van Riebeeck Park after their loved ones have been gunned down, murdered or promised to catch the criminals who took their loved ones’ lives for a vehicle?

It’s disgusting how a man of your stature or power has actually exploited a family’s loss of a son to brand your political status, same with the ANC.

You are not fit to be a councillor, never mind a mayor, as when it suits your political status, you visit.

Did you visit Tannie Meisie whose husband was shot in front of their home on Soutpansberg Drive when they were all dragged from their car?

Did you visit Ronald Weight of Blouberg Crescent who was attacked in his home and the second time hijacked and died due to his injuries?

What about all the victims of hijacking and robberies where families have been slaughtered, beaten and shot dead? Have you personally visited those families?

To have a man in such a powerful position focusing on one family only, which I say was a political move for the ANC, is disgusting.

Why don’t you fight for justice for all the families left behind?
