Disabled parked in at Woodbridge Square

The centre should also control the disabled parking in a better manner

What an unpleasant shopping experience I had at Woodbridge Square on Saturday, May 7.

I parked in the disabled parking as my husband is disabled, only to return to my vehicle to be parked in by a healthy and fit middle-aged lady so that I could not even open my car door.

Her reaction, “Relax there is no parking available!” Not even an apology! And the car guards running to collect their tip.

No centre manager was available to even clamp the wheels or impose a fine on the driver who parked us in on a yellow line. The car guard simply said, “What am I supposed to do?” I will in future rather travel to Greenstone or Festival Mall where the car guards and security look after the disabled people.

I want the lady to be named and shamed for laughing in our faces for not being able to get my disabled husband in the car because she could not find parking.

The centre should also control the disabled parking in a better manner.
