VACANCY FOR A STORES ASSISTANT NCS ENGINEERING IS IN BASED IN NIGEL EAST OF JOHANNESBURG, a leading and established manufacturer of engineering products, failsafe braking systems and underground mining vehicles for various industries. We have a vacancy currently for a Stores Assistant with at least 5 years` experience Stores Management and Stock Control experience in the automotive and mining industry. A Stores/Stock Control qualification (B Tec/Diploma) would be an advantage. The company in general and predominantly services the Mining Industry, and experience in the following would be an advantage and a preference. Duties `Assist the Stores Manager with MRP requirements and stock replenishment requisitions for material must be executed and performed daily to ensure that the company operational needs are met to ensure continuity of supply and eliminate shortages `Assist the Stores Manager with MRP Cost implosion is run daily and have to be checked for mistakes, variances and immediate correction `GRV Stock Control and Management, including ordering, receiving, offloading, issuing and dispatch of stock, handling of damaged and incorrect quantities and quality deliveries and returns, to be reported daily to Stores Manager `GRV documentation must be finalized daily and captured on SYSPRO. `Liaise with QC for inspection, prepare and control paperwork returns from Inspection
•Ensure compliance and implementation of NCS Store guidelines policies and procedures `Overall access security, housekeeping and management of staff discipline and daily Lock Up `Deliveries and collections if required `Control Scrap and Waste removal
•Manage sub- contraction Jobs `Manage Diesel Depot Core Skill requirements: `Minimum GR12 requirement (BTech/Diploma) `A valid driver`s licence and own transport `Fork Lift and Crane license `Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the required stocked components and supply chain management `Computer literate, to include advanced Excel and Word skills and application of Stores Management and materials/stock control programs
