Hoërskool Kempton Park learner Ruben Bishop participated in the SA JKA (Japan Karate Association) Gauteng Provincial Championships earlier this year. He achieved gold for kata and bronze for kumite. He also made it to the national championships and achieved bronze for kata and kumite.
