Snenhlanhla Madondo, in Grade Eight, and Tshwanelo Mampuru, in Grade Nine, both from Ashbury College, claimed first place in their age groups for public speaking at the Tersia King Learning Academy on 11 May.

The school hosted many events that saw schools around Gauteng link up for a day of activities, ranging from football, netball, robotics, chess and volleyball to public speaking.
