Curro Serengeti learner Munene Mukhombo was recently crowned Miss Teen Tembisa.
Lara de Castro, marketing manager for the school, said Munene’s achievement reflects her dedication not only to personal excellence but also to making a meaningful impact within her community.
“As a passionate youth wellness advocate, Munene has outlined inspiring goals that align with her title.
“She plans to develop the netball community in Thembisa by organising fundraisers for equipment and proper training facilities,” said De Castro.

“Her mission is to encourage school learners to embrace sports, recognising its vital role in fostering both physical and mental well-being.”
De Castro said Munene’s commitment to community upliftment extends beyond sports.
She is determined to contribute to initiatives that support vulnerable groups, showcasing her heart for service and her drive to create positive change.
She said Curro Serengeti was proud of Munene’s achievements and her vision to make a difference.
