The evolution of Kempton Park in striking images – PART 2

Part 2 of our virtual tour of Kempton Park shows more differences between Google Maps images taken in 2009/2010 to the most recent ones.

Part 1 of our virtual tour of Kempton Park proved to be wildly popular.

Through this tour, we compared the most recent images available on Google Maps to show what several areas looked like in 2009/2010 and what they look like now.

To start off Part 2, we will take a look at a few of the suggestions we received from readers.

We start of this segment at Bredell Spar with an image taken in 2009.

Next up we continue with suggestions sent in by readers. Here is Pongola River Drive in 2009 and again in 2022.

We also received a request to feature Mars Street in Rhodesfield.

Our next request was for Fairwinds Caravan Park.

We wanted to see how Kempton Park’s infamous ‘truck-eating bridge’ has fared over the years.
