A highlight on the entertainment calendar of many Joburg residents is the annual SPAR Women’s Challenge, which took place on October 6 at Mark’s Park Sports Club in Emmarentia.
Not only for women, the race encourages runners and walkers of all athletic abilities to support a good cause, while having a blast running through some of Joburg’s most beautiful, leafy-green suburbs.

This year the race was in support of Reach for Recovery, The Smile Foundation and Headstart Kids.
Often called Joburg’s most beautiful race, it’s not hard to see why.
The surrounding area was filled with the smiling faces of thousands of participants, dressed in vibrant colours, singing and dancing all along the route making this one event that is not to be missed.
