Police look for family of man killed in hit-and-run in Ebony Park

Anyone who many have more information that could assist in locating the family of Zulu Oscar Smele can contact Detective Sergeant Mpho Modiba.

Ivory Park SAPS has asked the community for assistance in locating the family of a man killed in a hit-and-run incident on September 8.

On the day, Ivory Park Police responded to the complaint received from Tembisa Hospital.

On arrival, officers were told that at and unknown man was admitted to the facility after he was struck by an unknown vehicle in Ebony Park.

The man died shortly after arrival at the hospital.

According to information available, the man was living in Ivory Park Extension 2.

When officers visited the property they were informed by the landlord that he did not know who the man’s family was.

Following investigations officers were able to establish that the man’s name was Zulu Oscar Smele, born on January 5, 1978.
