Kempton Park SAPS supports career day at pre-school

The team distributed pamphlets to the 250 learners providing vital information on recognising signs of abuse.

Kempton Park SAPS Vispol support commander Lieutenant Colonel Anton Jonker and a team of dedicated officers visited Doemdoemsies Pre-School as part of the school’s annual career day held on August 15.

The team included Sergeant Mpho Sigida, Sergeant Ntombifuthi Abrokwa, Sergeant Tendani Mashabela, Sergeant Daniel Sefoko, Constable Ntombizodwa Tshavhangu, and Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego from corporate communication, as well as eight security personnel.

The children were dressed in attire representing their future career aspirations.

Ditshego said the empowering initiative aimed to create a safe and supportive environment for the children.

She said the school expressed their gratitude for the visit, and the children were thrilled to interact with the police officers.

“The event was a resounding success, fostering a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community’s future leaders,” said Ditshego.
