Police look for family of a man found dead under Gautrain bridge

According to Sebenza SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso, vagrants staying with Magayi reported that he had been ill before his passing.

Sebenza SAPS is appealing to the community for assistance in locating the family of Mvuyisi David Magayi.

Magayi was found dead in a field under the Gautrain bridge on May 27.

According to Sebenza SAPS spokesperson, Sergeant Sharon Tsotsotso, vagrants staying with Magayi reported that he had been ill before his passing.

Magayi is believed to have originated from Matatiela in the Eastern Cape, and police are urging anyone with information about him or his family to come forward.

An inquest docket has been opened at Sebenza SAPS.
