SAPS conducts school search at Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School
"The search we conducted aimed to make sure that the school's code of conduct is adhered to at all times."
Kempton Park SAPS visited Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School on July 18.
Officers were joined by members of the CPF, Gauteng traffic wardens and educators.
Colonel Obed Mashalane addressed the learners.

“Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world.
“The search we conducted aimed to make sure that the school’s code of conduct is adhered to at all times,” said Mashalane.
A total of 204 learners were searched. Several inappropriate items were found on the school’s premises.
It is believed that the items discarded were thrown out of the windows by unknown learners during the search.
Officers confiscated the items.
