Warm up this winter at Melville Koppies for a hike
Entry costs R90 for adults and R50 for persons under the age of 18 and all income is used for maintenance of the Koppies.
If you can coax yourself out of your warm bed on a freezing Sunday morning and get to Melville Koppies, you will soon warm up as you tackle the 5km self-guided hike.
See if you can find all the spots on the scavenger hunt, or briskly stroll on any of the other paths.
And do not worry if you get lost, it is part of the fun of exploring.

For the bird watchers out there, the fairy flycatcher is back for his winter visit from Lesotho where he spends the summer.
The Melville Koppies is open every Sunday morning from 08:00 to 11:30.
Safe parking is provided opposite the entrance to Melville Koppies at Marks Park Sports Club in Judith Road, Emmarentia.
