IMPORTANT: Rand Water maintenance schedule updated

As a result of the planned maintenance residents can expect intermittent water supply, low water pressure and no water in some areas.

Residents are reminded of essential planned maintenance work that Rand Water will undertake from June 22 June to July 29.

Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to plan ahead of the water supply interruption.

The City of Ekurhuleni will provide roving water tankers for the duration of the maintenance period.

July 1

An eight hour planned maintenance period is expected to affect Kempton Park and Thembisa.

The scheduled maintenance will affect Isando, Croydon, Cresslawn and Bonaero Park in Kempton Park.

Thembisa areas affected include Thembisa, Clayville, Midstream, Witfontein, ERWAT and Serengeti Estate.

The outage will take place from 08:00 to 16:00 and those affected can expect intermittent supply, low water pressure and no water in some areas.

July 15

A 50-hour shutdown is planned from 03:00 on July 15 to 05:00 on July 17 and will affect Isando, Croydon, Cresslawn and Bonaero Park in Kempton Park as well as Thembisa, Clayville, Midstream, Witfontein, ERWAT and Serengeti Estate.

Those affected can expect intermittent supply, low water pressure and no water in some areas.

July 29

On July 29 Rand Water will implement a 40-hour shutdown from 05:00 to 21:00 on July 30.

The affected areas include Thembisa, Clayville, Midstream, Witfontein, ERWAT and Serengeti Estate.

Residents can expect intermittent supply, low water pressure and no water in some areas.
