Con Amore School to host fundraiser in support of Autism Awareness Month

Kempton Park residents and businesses challenged to support Autism Awareness Month this April.

The mascot for Con Amore School, Connie Chameleon, has challenged Kempton Park residents and businesses to support Autism Awareness Month this April.

Con Amore School together with Huddle Park Golf and Recreation Centre will be hosting a fun run/walk at Huddle Park 121 Club Street in Linksfield.

The event will take place on April 13 from 10:00 to 12:30.

The entry fee will be R40 for adults and R20 for children over the age of six.

Dog owners are encouraged to bring dog food as that is how their dogs can gain entry into the event.

Staff members will be at the venue from 08:00 to sell tickets and hand out wristbands to participants.

The team from Healing Hugs will also be there with their therapy dogs.

The community is urged to support Autism Awareness Month.
