EMPD nabs suspect in possession of drugs valued at R8 000
The EMPD discovered 57.35 grams of heroin.
Officers from the EMPD’s Northern Region Task Team arrested a 32-year-old male suspect for being in possession of narcotics on January 26.
According to EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, during EMPD’s stop and search operation, a silver Ford sedan with one occupant was searched.

“A total of 57.35 grams of heroin valued at R8 000 was seized,” said Thepa.
The suspect faces charges of possession of an illicit substance.
He is expected to appear at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon.
