Dagga dealer nabbed in Birch-Acres

This was after they received information from the Ekurhuleni District Crime Intelligence on December 20.

Norkem Park SAPS officers arrested a suspect, who was dealing in and in possession of dagga in Mmaba Street, Birch-Acres.

This was after they received information from the Ekurhuleni District Crime Intelligence on December 20.

Captain Nelda Sekgobela, Ekurhuleni district communications officer, said that the police officers proceeded to the said address and searched the house. They found 13kg of dagga.

“One male suspect was arrested,” said Sekgobela.

An undisclosed amount of cash was also found in the house.

A total of 13kg of dagga was found.

The suspect was detained at Norkem Park Police Station where the dagga and money were booked into evidence.

The suspect will appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.

At the time of going to print the outcome of the court case was unknown.
