Art-On Studio held their year-end exhibition to display the work their artists did this year.

Art-On Studio held its year-end exhibition, which displayed all the work students completed throughout the year.

The studio was founded by Louretta Marais three years ago and she aimed to expose people to art and also uplift the community.

“Teaching people art is the best job ever and I absolutely love it. I love being surrounded by creative energy and talented people,” she said.

“I believe that there is art in everyone and all you need to do is bring it up to the surface. I believe it comes from our ancestors as they had creative energies.”

A student at the studio, 13-year-old Shazia Sayed spoke about her love for art.

“I’ve been doing art at this studio for two years now and it is a very good and healthy environment. I enjoy it so much because it’s very peaceful, calming and relaxing.
