Flying squad nabs three suspects and recover vehicles

BFS arrested 2 suspects and recovered 3 vehicles between November 7 and November 10.

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested two suspects and recovered three motor vehicles between November 7 and November 10.

One suspect, aged 27, was arrested for possession and dealing in drugs in Sedibeng Section, Thembisa.

Mandrax, dagga and crystal methamphetamine were confiscated in this incident.

On November 10, a 49-year-old was arrested for drunken as well as reckless and negligent driving after colliding with a stationary vehicle on the R562, Olifanstfontein.

In further policing, three abandoned motor vehicles were recovered, a white NP200 at Klipfontein, Rabie Ridge, reported stolen in a Primrose case; a white Toyota Dyna at Third Avenue, Benoni, reported hijacked in a Thembisa case; and a blue Hyundai I20 at Ebony Park, Ivory Park, reported in a house robbery case at Voslosrus.

Investigations continue on all cases.

The suspects will be appearing in the Tembisa Magistrate’ s Court facing their respective charges.
