Attendees treated themselves to finger snacks, sliders, samoosas and quiches and an open bar.

The Kempton Park SPCA held its sip-and-paint session for community members to get creative on a blank canvas while raising funds for their animals to get sterilised.

The October event was held at the Kempton Park Golf Club on October 28. The painting session was presented by Aimee Loubser.

“Unsterilised animals pose a welfare concern. We have plenty of unwanted animals at the SPCA,” said SPCA manager Kira Sparrow.

“Also sterilisation for the animals has many positive health benefits such as longevity, less chance of cancer and prevention of pyometra.”

The painting was presented by Aimee Loubser.

She said the attendees treated themselves to finger snacks, sliders, samoosas and quiches and an open bar.
