Fundraiser for Kempton Park SPCA turns a success

“These funds help us make it through November until next year January, as those are the busiest time of the year for us.”

The Kempton Park SPCA held a successful FUNDraising event as part of its highly anticipated golf day at the Kempton Park Golf Club.

“The golf day is a great opportunity for FUNDraising but also for networking, making connections and building relationships,” said SPCA manager Kira Sparrow.

“Many golfers who played in the event have been supporting us since the first one in 2018.”

She said the day was ‘an absolute vibe and everyone had loads of fun’. Sparrow said the funds raised will be used to assist the shelter.

“It would be brilliant if we could. We try to do fundraisers throughout the year and have our annual golf day.

“Sadly, we could not do one in 2019, and thereafter we were hit by Covid-19. This year’s event has been a long time in the making.”

Sparrow said the animal shelter is her life, and she has a great team which does amazing work in the community.
