Several suspects arrested for possession of drugs, vehicles theft and robbery

Three suspects were arrested for possession of drugs at Goods and High roads, Brakpan, as well as Soma Road, Actonville.
Nyaope (heroine), mandrax and crystal methamphetamine were confiscated in these separate incidents.

On October 5 at around 17:00, members followed up information with a tracking company that led to Taljaard Road in Jet Park, Boksburg.
A suspect was arrested on the scene in possession of a red Scania truck with two super link trailers reported robbed on an Alberton case.
Two other trailers reported robbed on a Germiston case were also recovered on the scene.
The 43-year-old suspect will be appearing in the Boksburg Magistrates Court facing charges of possession of a hijacked motor vehicle.
Members patrolling the R23 on October 9 at around 01:00 came across two ladies with ten large bags wrapped in plastic at the corner of Main Reef Road, Benoni.
Upon investigation, it was found the bags contained counterfeit shoes estimated at around R100 000.
The suspects were immediately arrested and taken with the goods to Benoni SAPS.
At the station, the arresting officers were approached by a 34-year-old male who offered them ten thousand Rand (R10 000.00) for the release of the goods and suspects.

He was arrested on the spot for bribery and will be appearing in the Benoni Magistrates Court to face the charges while the other two will face charges of possession of counterfeit goods.
An abandoned stolen black Toyota Fortuner was recovered at Jubilee Road in Boksburg reported on an Edenvale case.
Investigation continues in all cases.
The alleged drug suspects will be appearing in the Brakpan and Benoni magistrate courts respectively facing charges of possession of drugs.
