Three suspects arrested in Kempton Park for theft

Three suspects were arrested on August 23 after stealing a TV at a house in Hugget Street.

Three suspects were arrested in Hugget Street, Kempton Park on August 24.

At about 09:30, a man went to a house on Hugget Street claiming to search for a room.

While he was talking to the owner of the house, another suspect entered the premises and stole a television.

A struggle ensued, and the two suspects fled the house.

The property owner called for assistance and through joint efforts from the CPF, security and SAPS, they arrested the three and the recovered television.

All three suspects aged 26, 38 and 48 were detained at Kempton Park SAPS where they were charged with being in possession of suspected stolen property.
