Winter is nearly over, go hike at Melville Koppies
Consequently, you are welcome to hike in the comfortable winter sun. Open from 8 to 11:30 on Sundays.
According to statistics, snowfall similar to what we experienced in mid July only occurs arounde every 10 to 20 years.
Book on 079 532 0083 for a guided tour of Melville Koppies to learn about the heritage and environment. The walk starts at 08:00 every Sunday at a cost of R100.
Alternatively, challenge yourself on the 5km hike, self-guide yourself along the many routes that crisscross the natural reserve or simply chill on the top and take in the breathtaking views.

Secure parking is provided opposite the Melville Koppies entrance at the Marks Park Sports Club situated on Judith Road in Emmarentia. Security is provided.
Entry costs R90 per person and R50 for children under the age of 18.
All proceeds go toward the upkeep of the Koppies.
