Pets up for adoption at Kempton’s SPCA

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

Pixie and Trixi are one-year-old domestic short-haired cats looking for forever homes. One is male, the other female.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are done ONLY between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

Tigger is a five-month-old domestic short-haired kitten in search of a loving home.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

Adoption fees:

This adorable mixed breed male puppy is waiting for his own family.

• Dog: R1 300 (including sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag).

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional).
