Kempton Park resident Vuyokazi Dolonga is a 32-year-old mother and a wife.
She works in the Aviation Industry as an Aeronautical Information Management Officer and is a semi-finalist for the Supreme Queen Global Earth Africa in Association with Mrs Globe South Africa.
Supreme Queen Global Earth Africa in Association with Mrs Globe South Africa is a new pageant that was created with the purpose of providing a platform for all women between the ages of 21 – 55 years old.
It serves as a leadership platform for all African women to have a voice and utilise it for causes that impact our continent.
“In 2014 I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months in the USA, where I learned a lot about serving my community , caring for those in need and sharing my beliefs.
“Being part of the selected semi-finalists gave me the opportunity to serve those in my community and have a voice to lead and empower other women.
“My reason for entering a pageant is to rediscover myself and gain self-confidence, be empowered and to empower other women, especially young women who come from a similar background as mine.”
“I want to empower young women and let them know and believe that they are beautiful, powerful and they can achieve any goal they set their minds into.”
SQGEA in association with Mrs Globe South Africa has partnered with a Charity organisation called : Helping those in need.
Helping those in need foundation aims to serve the community by providing umong others, daily cooked meals and a weekly soup kitchen, clothing for children and families and taking the destitute off the streets and finding them safe homes.
“While embarking on this incredible journey, I’m required to align with an emerald sponsor and also raise funds for the official charity organisation called Helping those in Need foundation,” said Vuyokazi.
