Body of new born baby found dumped in Aston Manor

A passerby found the baby's lifeless body in a plastic bag while walking through the field at around 07:00 this morning, July 24.

The body of a new-born baby was found dumped in the field at the intersection of Concourse Crescent and Coniston Way in Aston Manor.

According to the information available, the baby’s body was discovered by a passerby walking thorough the field at around 07:00.

The new born was wrapped in a plastic bag.

Paramedics were called to scene and declared the baby dead.

Various services including Kempton Park SAPS responded to the call for assistance.
