Norkem Park SAPS detectives arrested two suspects for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on May 7.

It is believed the two arrested suspects were involved in a series of armed robberies of delivery vehicles in the area.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Barbara-Anne Ferreira said a community patroller and a reservist stationed at the police station helped Vumacam identify the vehicle used in the robberies.

The unlicensed fire arm and ammunition found inside the car.
