Kempton Police holds meeting to tackle crime

Representatives from various security companies and community leaders also attended the meeting.

Acting visible policing commander Lieutenant Colonel Shadrack Maqcuntsu from Kempton Park SAPS and the CPF chairperson, Ronnie Ross Allen, held a meeting in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, on May 20.

Representatives from various security companies and community leaders also attended the meeting.

Lieutenant Colonel Shadrack Maqcuntsu along with other individuals who attended the meeting.

Spokesperson for the Kempton Park SAPS Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego said that during the meeting, Maqcunstu discussed crimes that are problematic in sector two and three, which included house robberies, hijackings, common robberies, business robberies and theft out of as well as of motor vehicles.

“A plan of action with security companies within the precinct was formulated,” said Disthego.

She added that a follow-up meeting will be held to ensure that this plan is implemented.
