The Community Safety MMC Sizakele Masukua ccepted the memorandum from demonstrators in the Thembisa on May 29.

The community members of Winnie Mandela, Duduza and Tswelopele were gathered at the Winnie Mandela Customer Care Centre to hand over a memorandum of the removal of the ward councilor.
Spokesperson for EMPD Kelebogile Thepa said that EMPD officers and other law enforcers, monitored the peaceful proceedings.
“The MMC promised to deliver the appeal to the relevant department and the march dispersed without any casualties reported,” said Thepa.
