Friends at Kempton’s SPCA seek new homes

The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are ONLY conducted between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet from the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

This adult male Yorkshire terrier is looking for a loving early retirement home.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are ONLY conducted between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

This adorable adult male wire-haired terrier is looking for his fur-ever after home.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.
7. Take your fur baby home.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

Adoption fees:

• Dog: R1 300 (includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag).

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional).
