Thembisa beauty announced as semi-finalist for Mrs South Africa 2023

Mabitsela aims to take the crown home.

Ratile Mabitsela (32), a wife, mother, and businesswoman, has been named a semi-finalist for Mrs South Africa 2023.

The Mrs South Africa beauty pageant, is a contest for married women.

Mabitsela entered the competition in the hopes of bringing home the prize.

Growing up in Thembisa, where adolescent pregnancies and drug abuse are common, inspired her to defy convention and pursue a career while simultaneously acting as a light of hope for the rest of her community, which is the reason for her entry for the Mrs SA competition.

She was born and raised in Thembisa, holds an honors degree in programme management, is a University of Johannesburg alumni, former Miss Tembisa 2013, and now co-director of the Miss Tembisa Pageant.

She is an entrepreneur and is passionate about wellness, fitness, and graceful ageing, which she promoted through her business venture, Youth Fountain Infusions, which entails IV drips and aesthetics.

Ratile is an advocate for beauty pageants, with a desire to become a professional pageant coach.

“It’s not just about looking good and being intelligent; beauty pageants also provide women a chance to show off their skills and talents and what they can offer an organisation.

“As a lady competing in pageants, I have utilised the platform, as well as my personal platforms, to empower other women, and I have used pageants to enhance their professions,”

“I’m prepared to embody the pageant’s objective as a well-rounded individual who will serve as its face,” said Mabitsela.
