Help pets who need a new at Kempton Park’s SPCA

Check for animals that are up for adoption on Kempton Express or Kempton Park SPCA Facebook page.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence (as well as a letter from your landlord or body corporate where applicable).

Kennel R17: A female kitten domestic short-haired.

 

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are only conducted between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

Adoption fees:

• Dog: R1 300 (includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag)

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional)

Kennel R13: An adult male Daxie X. Name: Nickie.

 

Kennel R18: About five-months-old male domestic short-haired.
