Body discovered in Thembisa school

“There are no suspects as it is still an inquest case,” said Tembisa Police Stations communications officer Constable Patricia Mgijima.

The body of a man was found inside the premises of Boitumelong Secondary School.

“An inquest has been opened as we are not sure of the way the victim had died,” said Tembisa Police Station’s communications officer Constable Patricia Mgijima.

Mgijima said the victim was found on July 6 by a security guard at the school.

She added that the body was surrounded by branches.

“We opened an inquest as the police are still trying to find out if it was foul play was involved.”

The communications officer at the Department of Education, Steve Mabona, said the department was not aware of the discovery at the time of being contacted by the Express.
