City of Ekurhuleni bus tickets increased by 50c from July 1.

“CoE raise the prices to maintain the service because of the steadily rising expenses of maintenance and fuel.
“The situation is beyond our control and everyone can concur with us that the standard of living is becoming more expensive each day. therefore, also our maintenance costs,” said CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
“We are implementing a minimal increase to ensure the fleet remains in good condition for the ease of movement of our people between their homes and their various destinations and places of work,” said Dlamini.
