Operation Masakhane to be held on Saturday 2 July in Glen Acres

The duration of the operation will be from 08:00 to 14:00.

Community members are invited to form part of Operation Masakhane to be held on this Saturday (July 2).

“The Joint Operations Centre (JOC) will be situated in the parking area of Glen Acres Mall,” said one of the organisers, Lieutenant Colonel Wouter Heyneke.

Heyneke, who is also a reservist at the Kempton Park SAPS, said the duration of the operation will be from 08:00 to 14:00.

“All participants are requested to arrive early to set up their gazebos etc in time for the parade at 08:00,” said Heyneke.

“The goal of the operation is to be visible and create awareness in the community.

“Channels of communication and briefing as to the specifics of what, when and where will be dealt with at the parade.”
