Mothers Day fun fun had at care centre

“Our residents love these social events and the opportunity to enjoy themselves in the company of their friends and neighbours.”

Residents from the Rand Aid Ron Smith Care Centre celebrated Mother's Day with a morning.
On May 6 residents enjoyed tea at the centre's hall which was decorated with a pink and white floral theme.
Roses from the care centre's gardens decorated the tables and golden oldies music led to spontaneous moving to music, lively hand-clapping and dancing.
During the celebrations, residents have been treated to an array of sweet and savoury snacks sponsored by Avbob.
“The Mother’s Day tea was the second RSCC event of the year where residents and staff from all six residential wings came together to enjoy music, dancing, food, fun and fellowship,” said Rand Aid’s manager of recreational programmes Debbie Christen.
“Our residents love these social events and the opportunity to enjoy themselves in the company of their friends and neighbours.”
