Man loses car and possessions in Thembisa

The Thembisa police are urging the public, regardless of gender, to be careful of who they associate with to avoid being victims of criminal activities.

On January 6, a vehicle, clothes and electrical equipment were stolen from a 45-year-old man’s yard.

According to reports, a man from Thembisa’s eMangweni Section went to a club and met three women. He made a move on one of them, and they were both on their way to his place shortly after.

He claims he has no recollection of what happened, except that when he awoke the next morning, his VW Polo, microwave, shoes, smartphones and other belongings had been taken. Woman was nowhere to be seen.

Thembisa SAPS received a report of theft.

According to Const Patricia Mgijima, Thembisa SAPS communications officer, police are urging the public, regardless of gender, to be careful of who they associate with to avoid being victims of crime.
