Editor – I live in a retirement village and on May 3 a gentleman reversed into a woman’s car causing damage, both parties reside in the retirement village. The next morning (May 4), I went with them to the Norkem Park Police Station to report the incident and to get a case number.

The reason why I am writing to Express is to express our gratitude to the female officer who took all the particulars, as well as the rest of the staff who were compassionate, obliging and very patient.
